CAn we bridge our region's growing economic and social divides by changing the way we work together?

COVID-19 has made a lasting impact on our lives and communities of color have continued to bear the burden of embedded inequity in this pandemic. While underscoring our isolation, the pandemic has also highlighted our connectedness. Our region is at a pivotal moment. What do we want the region to look like going forward? How do we create a community of belonging and meaning for all residents? Are we ready to create a vision of shared prosperity and racial equity that centers community and bridges across private, public, and philanthropic sectors?

Civic Commons developed the Scorecard for Shared Prosperity to reframe what it means to achieve shared prosperity across multiple dimensions. It was built to provide leaders with a data-driven economic scorecard to facilitate the use of common metrics and set the stage for collaborative strategy setting that drives regional change.

Join us as we discuss our Scorecard for Shared Prosperity and explore what it means to achieve shared prosperity as well as what it means to evaluate our region’s performance. Our guests will discuss what we need to do to improve equity, how we can better support growth/improvement through cross sector work and what the potential impacts of the current moment are.
