Welcoming our newest team member

Please join the Civic Commons team in welcoming Caitlin Moran, our new content and communications manager.

A lifelong resident of the Puget Sound region, Caitlin is passionate about bringing communities together through storytelling. She's worked for various media outlets as a reporter and editor; her most recent roles were leading community engagement efforts for The Seattle Times’ Education Lab project and directing The Evergrey.

Caitlin is no stranger to Civic Commons. In 2020, she led editorial efforts for the Our Tomorrow series that Civic Commons co-produced with The Evergrey. She’s also appeared on the We Belong Here podcast and got a crash course in the Scorecard for Shared Prosperity by moderating a virtual panel discussion about it earlier this year. She’s excited to continue contributing to the mission of Civic Commons by connecting community leaders and elevating underrepresented voices.

In her spare time, Caitlin loves exploring new places around the city, in the mountains, and on the water. She lives in Capitol Hill with her husband and infant son.

Say hello to Caitlin by dropping her a line (Caitlin@civic-commons.org) or following Civic Commons on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn.
